Nurturing community and families
Deuteronomy 6:5-7 describes the critical role that parents have in the lives of their children. Our goal in Community Life is to come alongside our families in their high calling to raise the next generation of Christ followers. We do this by encouraging, equipping, and empowering families in their vocation.
It takes a village...
LCA relies on its families and the outside communities for their support in various ways. Because God has equipped each of us with varying-gifts, there are many ways you can support LCA in Building Warriors for Christ through prayer and the stewarding of your time, talents, and resources. We are excited to lock arms with you in the noble effort of raising the next generation of Christ followers.
Fellowship
(PTFs & PWs)
Parent teacher fellowships (PTFs) and parent workshops (PWs) are held at least once per semester and often include guest speakers on special topics of interest for our families.
Service Projects
Service projects led by their grade include activities such as serving at local food banks, Feed My Starving Children, Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls, clothing drives, Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoeboxes, and more.
Social Activities
Social coordinators help get families together by grade level for coffees, dinners, and other special events.
Private Lessons
Vocal and instrumental private lessons, as well as dyslexia invention assistance, are offered on campus at LCA.
Prayer
The most important way you can support LCA is to be in prayer over our students, faculty, staff, and families. We would not be here today if it weren’t for the faithful founders of LCA steadfastly interceding on the school’s behalf. We believe this will always be what leads us in God’s good favor.
